Sunday LIVE! Hosted by Railroad Park Foundation

Sunday LIVE is a free, live event hosted by Railroad Park! Sunday LIVE will feature a live drum circle, hosted by John Scalici of Get Rhythm, live improv comedy with Extemporaneous Theater Company and live music on the plaza with DJ Slim Robb. Food, beverages, and sprits will be made available for purchase through George’s Boxcar Café and Red Clay. A photo booth will be on-site plus our friendly Railroad Park staff members will be on hand to provide you with information on all things Railroad Park. So invite a friend, or two, or five and come on out to Sunday LIVE!
Birmingham Art Crawl
Thursday August 6th: 5pm-9pm
Join the Birmingham Art Crawl every first Thursday from 5:00 – 9:00 pm, rain or shine, as downtown Birmingham, Alabama transforms into a walking art gallery full of artists, performers, food and fun!
Art Crawl is a great way to meet local artists and performers, buy and appreciate their work, and be part of the rapidly growing art scene in Birmingham. You also get a chance to shop after-hours in some of downtown Birmingham’s most popular businesses. An estimated 3,000 art enthusiasts attend each month in support of 40+ local artists.
Venues stretch across the historic arts, loft, and theatre districts including galleries, restaurants and bars, downtown businesses and more. Look for the latest edition of Weld for Birmingham on the first Thursday of the month to find the official Birmingham Art Crawl map and to be able to navigate to each location.
July 31 – August 2, 2015
Secret Stages is a two-day walking music festival that takes place in downtown Birmingham, AL on the first weekend of August. For two nights a diverse group of music enthusiasts are treated to around 60 bands performing on the stages of neighborhood establishments. These acts were drawn from the nation, the region, and our own back yard, and all are up-and-coming or buzz-worthy acts on the cusp of making a big splash. All Secret Stages venues are within a two-block radius, so our patrons can come to the city center, park, and have walking access to dozens of bands, a variety of venues, and delectable restaurants.
VIP Passes are $50 ($75 at event gates). Weekend Passes are $25 ($35 at event gates)
Tickets will be available for pick up at the festival Will Call starting Friday, July 31st. Additional Will Call locations for advance pick up will be announced in the coming weeks
